CINNAMON ROLLS For use with a bread machine
Makes 16
INGREDIENTS:
Dough: 1 cup water
1 egg
3 1/4 cups bread flour or unbleached bread flour
4 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons powdered milk
Filling: 1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
2/3 cup raisins
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Add dough ingredients in order to bread machine. Use quick dough setting
2. When done, on a lightly floured board divide dough into 2 parts.
3. Roll 1 part into an 8x9 rectangle
4. Sprinkle evenly with 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1/3 cup raisins
5. Starting at the longer edge roll loosely, slice into 8 pieces
6. Repeat process with other half of the dough
7. Place rolls on baking sheet with rim, cut side up about 2 inches apart
8. Cover with damp towel, let rise in warm place until double in size (40-60 minutes)
9. Bake at 375F (10-15 minutes)
